The G40 and G50 is a combined welding and polishing screen; The G40 includes a passive mineral glass and the G50 an automatic darkening filter (ADF), DIN blackout levels 9-13 and a folding visor. The large plastic lens offers the welder a full field of vision when the visor is folded up. The screens have a B score in the impact resistance classification, which means that they are approved for use in polishing.
